I bought an antique stove form the 30' or 40's and would like to install it, the person i purchased it from had used it, is there any way I can test it befor I hook it up?

Hello Mark. Welcome to my Gas Appliances forum.

I am not positive I understand what you mean by test. If your referring to leak test & test for serviceablity, the answer is no, for all practical intents.

You'll have to connect it to the gas supply, soap test the connections you did for leaks first. Then turn the burners on and see the results.

Most likely, if the same fuel type {LP???...NAT???} is used as was priorly used, no adjustments should have to be made.
