Does anyone know what type of drill or saw I need to bore a inch and a half hole in my new 8" foundation. The hole is for my water pipe from my well. THanks.

One way you can do it is to rent/borrow or whatever a core drill. I'm not sure if the bits are available that small but something over 1.5" should be o.k. I know they go down to 3" because we've used them at work. An easier way would be a hammer drill. I'm talking a "Hilti" or something along those lines. Again, whether they have bits that large, I don't know. But I've used them as large as 3/4" so maybe bigger ones are available.Another member may have a better way so keep checking back......Good Luck.

are you sure there isnt a void in the foundation for the water pipe? usually your foundation pourers will stuff a can/bit o junk in the general area of your water line so you can simply chisel it out later. Worth a check.

Hope this helps-Josh
