Inside fireplace question:
Is it possible to remove a brick threshold (red brick) of a fireplace ...
then I would like to cut the bricks flush with the front of the surround?
I want to make the floor in front of the fireplace flat with the carpet or slightly raised and have someone install granite threshold and surround.....right now the fireplace with the red brick is a tripping hazard.
Any suggestions would be appreciated
