We put dark green tile on counters and back splash a few years ago. The tiles are begining to look worn around the edges (no shine). Is there a way we could re-glaze or put something safe (food area) over the tiles to bring back the new look. I don't want to re-tile we love the way it looks. It's only been a few years.

welcome to the world of tile counter tops. no way to reglaze tiles unless they are put in a kiln . so you can't do that. sorry some tiles sratch easier than others some wear quicker than others.
they look good but take more care and less wear.
