i have a tub only now i am going to take out the tub and replace with a tub/shower insert (fiberglass)I Am Confused About After i attach it to the wall with galvinized nails what covers up the nail holes from showing. Also Do I use pre Existing Frame If The New Insert Is The Exact Same Dimensions as the new drop in fibergalss insert. thank for any help ..:confused:

The process to install the 1, 2 or 3 or 4 pc units is simple. Unfortunately, removal of existing wall coverings is required. The nailing flange is to be attached directly to a stud. I have attached the Lasco tub/shower unit as an example which depicts the installation with pictures. So depending on what you are installing, the drywall will be placed over the nailing flange and then you can finish your project with anything you like. Usually the area between the fiberglass walls and drywall can be caulked with 100% silicone after you have applied your wall finish.
