This is not a question. However just wanted to share my experience when building walls in my entertainment room. When putting up new sheetrock, I decided to try putting in speakers and run the wires through the basement and into the walls. It was wicked easy and I have a nice banana clip style wallplate behind the entertainment system. I finally decided on some inexpensive 2-way speakers from radio shack. Total cost of all wire, speakers, and plates...etc = approx 90 bucks. Now the room is done and the sound set up through my receiver. It sounds AWESOME! It was easy, inexpensive, and looks real nice too. (i.e. no need for external wires, bulky speakers, and speaker stands).
Basically if anyone is building a multi-purpose room like this and doing walls, at least run the wires for a future speaker install. Best investment I ever made. Even inexpensive speakers sound great using the walls as an enclosure. peace: e3 - spamman
