I'm trying to refinish my oak kitchen cabnets. I have arthritis in my hands and am having trouble using a furniture refinisher that calls for scrubbing with steel wool. The cabnet doors have many deep grooves that are hard to get in. I've tried a thicker deglosser (liquid sandpaper) but it's the same thing. I still have to scrub a whole lot. Is there an easier way. Maybe something that I can put on and let sit to get the finish off with out damaging it?

If you're trying to remove the current finish and get down to bare wood, a deglosser is NOT what you need.
