Hi there, just wondering about putting flat latex over some signs that have high gloss on them already. Any special prep ... ie should I rough up the high gloss? Need an answer ASAP. Thanks

What kind of signs? Street signs? Metal or wood? At a minimum, you should lightly sand to take off the gloss. Then prime and paint.

Thanks Rich. Some of signs are wood, some are corregated plastic. Project is water under bridge now though. Roughing up seemed to do the trick. Thanks again.
