Can anyone recomend a brush-on gloss paint that will withstand high heat? I want to paint an exposed steam pipe in my house, but the catch is, it has to be gloss and white or beige in color. If not, what temperature can most oil-base paints withstand?

Unless your heat is set to scald, any spray paint over the cleaned and prepared pipe will handle the heat.
