#1. getting ready to re-paint babys room (yes, #1 is on its way). took down old border and got the paper/backing off, but the glue is still there. do i leave it and just slap the kilz on it, or should i try scrubbing it off. is there an easier way...will "dif" take it off?

#2. in the same room i noticed a "water spot" on the ceiling. yes, i checked the attic above it, not a problem, just some excess water..already took care of the problem. i need to cover it up/paint over it, etc. what do i use? i have the "normal" ceilings with the texture.

thanks for the help and PRAY for a boy!!!! (i need a new fishing buddy :D)

On the border left on the walls you may be able to simply spritz is with water and rub it off. On the larger pieces of the backing/adhesive left on the wall, you may be able to hook a fingernail under it and pull the rest off (after wetting).

Usually a good primer/sealant will take care of the water stains on ceilings. I've always used Kilz, however there are a lot of other good ones on the market from what I hear.
