We've just bought a new home and the kitchen has brass knobs all over the place (100 of them). I'd love to buy new black knobs, but they are sooo expensive.

Is there anyway to paint these knobs.

I've seen them paint all kinds of knobs on "Trading Spaces". I think if you choose a very good brand of paint specifically for metal (like Rustoleum) and use the proper preparation (cleaning, roughing up the surface) on the knobs it could be done. Probably be a smart idea to test on one or two inconspicuous knobs first in case you don't like the results. Good luck on your paint job.
