I have to replace the bathroom door. It appears that they old owners slamed it to hard and split the wood in the area of the hindge on the door itself.
Can anyone please tell me about how much I should expect to pay for a new bathroom door? Is there anything in particular I should look for?

Measure your door width, go to a big box place and buy a pre-hung door.
Make sure that it swings the same way as the old door. Put your back to the hinge side, and if the door swings to the right it is a "right-hand" door and if to the left, it is a "left-hand" door.
Do a search in here (above) on how to hang them. I just posted a how-to for someone a few days ago.
Good luck!
