I am wanting to smooth out the texture in my ceiling. I have an acoustic (popcorn) texture to the ceiling and would like it to be as smooth as possible. I'm not sure if I can just scrape the texture off or if there is a tool that will help me with this. I've heard that there is a way to knock the texture off but no one that I've talked to seems to know how to do it. If the only way is to re-drywall the ceiling then I'll stick with the texture!!! I'm hoping for an easier way!
