We recently purchased a house and it is completely covered with texture coating. It goes over every exterior wall, all exterior wooden storage cabinets, wood panels and even over some wooden window frames.

I would like to get rid of as much of it as possible. What is the best solution for the individual problem zones? Sanding? Plastering over it?
