I recently noticed water leaking down the blower motor of my furnace. I assume it is some sort of condensation from the air conditioner. Any idea what it is and how I can correct it? The ac unit is about 10-12 years old. The furnace unit is probably 20 something. My outside ac unit is unlevel on the pad and I need to level it (pad sunk). Can this cause any effect? How do I clean the coil on the inside unit? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Check condensate pan on coils, see if it's partically blocked and not letting all the water out, which could result in water dripping onto your motor.
as far as cleaning the coils, for the inside coils, i use a product called Coil-Rite and for the outside coils, i use Con-Coil. You can buy these a most Plumbing and heating supply houses. Also Keep up on the filters.
Hope it was some help for you.

Good post Coachman. The only thing I would like to add is a suggestion to search through some of the recent posts [past few days] where there are some lengthy discussions about how to cure water leak problems. Also, it's important that the outdoor unit is level in order for the compressor running gear to be properly lubricated. Thanks.
