I'm remodeling the house and moving wallls so I'll need to rework some ductwork. Do you have to use 26 ga. sheetmetal or is 30ga. ok?

The lighter gauge metal will pop and make noises like an old-fashioned oil can. Seal all of the seams with caulking to make them air tight.
