I am placing 2" square tiles on the bottom of my shower stall. The tiles are attached to a fiber mesh measuring 1 foot by 2. Does anyone have advice on how to cut a cicle into the tile to accomodate the drain? The top plate on the drain does not have any overlap that I can hide rough cuts under so the cut has to be very precise. Any advice would be appreciated.

Try a hole saw made for cutting tile. You may have to remove the tiles from the mesh before you cut them. The mesh is primarily to aid in keepin the spacing between tiles.
