Must be crudded up....won't drain with closest faucet open and the water on (or off).......Any solutions? Thanks.

Shove a coat hanger thru the drain spiggot and wiggle it around. On electric heaters I've removed the heating unit and decrudded them thru the hole. Don't know how to do it on a gas heater.
