I have a family room where the old concrete floor and the wood sub floor isn't completely smooth, going from one to another. Should I lay a thin sheet of OSB on the floor before putting down glued laminated floors down? I know that the locking flooring available has to be within 1/4 inch. Can the glue floor be off a little more or does it have to be even more level? Let me know.

A laminate floor that is not FLAT withing 1/8" in 8' has potential to disconnect and/or make unwanted noise. Various manufacturers have slightly different specs that could impact your warrantee but if the flatness is more than 1/8" you may not be happy with the installation glued or not.
