Hi everybody !
We are looking at taking the carpet off and go for Pergo flooring and planning to install it ourselves.
I tried looking into a couple of installation guides which are way to elaborate to comprehend.
Can anybody who have tried this, or know about this, give me the steps enlisting the way to go about it ?
Thank you,
- Padma

You must have tools, skills, and be able comprehend both installation instructions and the warrantee to be successful. If any of the above is not acceptable, I would suggest that you hire a qualified professional installer for the job.

Thanks Mr. Azfred,
I saw your website and its very very helpful. I guess I will go through that and decide if we should DIY or get it done by a professional.
You have covered all the points what a layman should know before going about Flooring decisions.
Thanks so much.

This may not be pertinent to your thread, but I don't know any other way to get my message posted.

I would not be intimidated by your project. I would highly suggest that you attend a self-help demonstration at your nearest Home Depot. This takes about 45 minutes to complete and is rather simple...good luck.

Thanks so much Mr. Lies.
I wasn't aware of Home Depot having any such classes earlier. Its a real welcome if it had. Will definitely attend to it and yes you are right, it would be worth it !
thanks again,
