Someone gave me a Hitatchi hand power planer because it wouldn't work.
A nine dollar belt later and it shaves wood to beat the band.
The only thing is I don't know why it has a curved bottom plate.
When sitting flat both ends are about 1/4 inch ( 6 mm) off the table.
Couldn't find this tool on their website and the guy who gave it to me couldn't remember what his dad told him.
