I need help!! My bed in my room is just that, a bed with nothing else. Its on a frame with a spring board but thats it. I need a cheap way of "sprucing" it up a bit. I was thinking about going around the bottom with a skirt (made out of piping and a curtain valance). I kind of want a inexpensive way to make it look similar to a day bed, but I have no clue on how to do so. If you could, please post to tell me your oppinion. Thanks :)

Standard day beds are usually enclosed on three sides by a supporting frame. Since your bed supports itself, how about some type of frame added in?

Check with your local building supply center about railing systems(like for a porch). You may find something economical enough to really turn your bed around.

Anyone else have any ideas?

Thanks for your idea, I think that will work wonderfully. :)
