I've reached the point where I'm willing to pay for some convenience in my shop. I'm looking for a good brad nailer, defined as one that will shoot 1/2" - 1" brads completely into a pine board and do so repeatedly without jamming.
I don't want a compressor driven gun - I don't have the money to spend on a compressor or room for it in my shop.
Any suggestions concerning a nailer you've used?

We are sometimes working a project where all our compressors are in use AND other trades are hogging the 110 OR we have just a little quickie trim to do, so we went and got a $315 SENCO 14 volt cordless, and also a $300(?) Porta-Cable TPS. That TPS is "Twin Power Source" runs on air OR on battery. Both VERY fine machines - so far so good - guys like 'em - take abuse. The Craftsman 110v wore out PDQ long time ago - never again.

I heard about a new nailer thats on the market it requires no air or electricity. what it uses is a battery and a fuel cell. i guess the fuel cells cost about 10 dollars and can shoot 1000 nails. check into them i think you may like them. thirdeep

I may have spoken too soon about the 110v Craftsman brad nailers. We do have them down in the shop and out in the field; model #684253. The nose pieces are pretty worn, the cords have been hacked up, the guys say they're "uh, okay I guess" - but all prefer our air guns.
I looked up invoices and the SENCO 25 cordless I mentioned above was $235 and is 12 volt, not 14 - sorry.
That Porta-Cable "Twin Power" was $240 and is model # BN200V12. This one is the shop favorite.

Thanks for all the input. I've been looking at a Paslode Finish nailer, which has even more range (nail size) than I mentioned above. I'll check on the Senco and Porter Cable as well.
