how many miles are on it?, have the plugs been changed? have the injectors been cleaned? have you examined the engine in the dark while running to see if it had spark going outside the wires?

Go Sooners! I'm from El Reno, OK. The truck has 101,000 miles and the injectors haven't been cleaned. Yes, I have checked it at night and I did not see a spark.

would suggest you have codes read for a starting point might also be a good idea to run it by an exhuast shop to check for a exhuast restriction.

Common problems

1. plugged fuel filter causing low fuel pressure in the fuel injection system.

2. plugged air filter not allowing the proper amount of air into the engine.

3. fuel pump is worn providing low fuel pressure to the fuel injectors.

4. routine tune up necessary

forgot to add have you ran a compresson check on your engine? if not please run one and let us know what it is. to run properly then engine should have all cylinders within 10 percent. you must have good compression, fuel and spark for starters.
