| Hi JHR, I'm reading this as a knobset. Correct? On the inside knob, there should be a push pin. This will be on the skinny part of the knob, next to the door. If I'm not mistaken, it will be at either the 4 o'clock, or 7 o'clock position. To push it in, you will need something like a small diameter nail, an old dull ice pick, or something strong enough to push it in. Once you've done that, pull the inside knob off the lock. Next, you have to remove the rose cover plate. Look for an opening along the edge. It will look sort of like the little notch on a battery compartment on a TV remote. Pop off the rose, and this should expose the screws that actually hold the lock in place. Slide it out towards the outside of the door. This should do it for you.
