Gunguy is correct. One thing I might mention.
My brother in law had this same problem with his cooler only to discover after much parts changing, his belt was getting water on it and slipping! No matter which speed he picked, it always acted like it was on low.
I have seen this a couple of times in the past 30 years. Just thought I might mention it.
