| I have had funny smells when burning fuel that has had a fuel stabilizer added.
Have you checked to make sure the oil is to the proper level? The only thing rubber inside the engine I can think of would be the seal where the shaft protrudes from the case. Without oil the friction might burn the rubber.
Check the cooling fins and make sure to look under the shroud. The fan may have sucked something in and is burning on the cooling fins. |
