Hello I type this while it is -27c outside...I Have a Armstrong Air Handler in the basement with the electric heat strips....I am running on emerg heat now as ..1. It is too cold for the pump and 2. the pump is pooched(another story)...the air handler too me seems to have a rough time keeping the house warm(1100sqft)...I have felt the duct just above the airhandler and it is warm..not hot..I have a thermometer on the closest floor register...it is registering 26c....I opened the front of the air handler last week and checked the serial/part numbers on the heat strip kit.....it is as follows
AEHBCC15CSA, installed in a BCZ24D08N00A handler. I ask this.. should things feel and register hotter, how can I check...and from what I have gather the heat strip kit is designed for a larger style handler.... |
