| Chances are if your evaporator is freezing and filters are clean, fan running, your unit is low on gas. If it's a heat pump, it's probably been running your auxiliary heat instead of the heat pump.
If it's low on gas it's usually indicative of a leak and should be repaired and recharged.
The cost of a service call would most likely be less than what you've spent on the aux heat running. |
