| No need to change out the drywall and no reason to Redgard it. You can tile directly over it. Make sure the drywall is properly fastened to the ceiling joists. A few more screws is a good idea. Do to how low that ceiling is, I'd think twice about the paint option. That ceiling may receive a little more spray than you anticipate. |
