What twelve said. Corian, and other solid surface materials are easy to fix scratches. But care must be used to do it correctly. The color goes all the way thru so don't worry about the color changing. Do not stay in one spot with the sander. Follow directions and all should be OK. A matte finish is normal, high gloss can be obtained, but is nearly impossible to maintain.
