So my diagram but switch the red and white. @ the furnace run the red -> com and the white -> hum?

Or would it be better to switch all the wires so in my diagram the red would be white and white would be red w/ the red going to the hum and the white going to the com? would this be more useful and appropriate if someone else looked at my wiring?
