| PLS HELP! Ademco 6150 random beeping all night!
I'm at wits end on this one. We have an Ademco 6150 keypad in our bedroom connected to an Ademco Vista 10P panel. For the past two days the keypad has been randomly beeping VERY LOUDLY throughout the night! there is no code displayed even after pressing the * key, and the second keypad isn't beeping. I am a novice, but technically proficient.
Could this be a defective keypad or something else? How do I diagnose this, or can I at least just disable the keypad or silence it? I am connected to a monitoring company, and the system is over 5 years old. The battery at the panel has never been replaced, but again there is no code on either keypad. This happens both when the system is either armed and when it is not.
The window and door sensors are all wired units, as are the keypads.
We need our sleep!!!
