| Exterior Garage Lights Wiring
Greetings:
Need to add/wire two exterior(carraige) garage lights. No pre-wiring exists. I have a lighted ceiling fan in the garage. A switch to control power for the ceiling fan is on the garage wall.
Q? How to I connect the wires from the garage lights to the junction box wiring that connects to the ceing fan? The exterior garage lights will have a dusk to dawn feature- so no daily on/off switching for the garage lights is needed. I do not keep the garage ceiling fan on all the time.
I plan on using 14/2 Romex. I need to drill through concrete block about 8" to expose the wire to the exterior face of the garage (where I will attach the light),
Q? when I run this 8" wire through the concrete do I need to put ina piece of pipe or PVC? |
