| I'm thinking that the fact that you struck an object and the running issue is purely coincidental, or the shock somehow affected the ignition coil. Lets find out if you have an ignition problem or a likely carburetor issue. Have a spare spark plug in your pocket, run the mower until the problem surfaces, immediately remove the spark plug wire from the spark plug and place the spark plug in your pocket in the spark plug wire, rest the plug on a metal part of the engine (for grounding purposes), crank the engine over and inspect for spark at the spark plug gap. Post back with the test results. |
