| I actually wanted the tankless going into the project. I designed the house so I didn't make any space for the water heater, knowing that it would be mounted outside. As it happens both units will be near where the hot water is needed and in a conspicuous place on the exterior. I didn't really plan it that way but it worked out well.
I appreciate all the comments..... is nice to know I can ask questions like this and get a good sampling of responses.
